Our contemporary “rag dolls” are intentionally designed to be ultra-simple and easy to make for every skill level. BSJ ScrapBoxDolli-es have no fingers or toes. They are simply made using our exclusive revolutionary Dolli- construction and face making methods. Our goal is to bring Rag Doll Making to the masses and to encourage GrownUps and Kids to learn Dolli-Making Together!!! We know that HANDMADE = LOVE on so many levels … we want to help you and your Kiddo experience every one!
BSJ ScrapBoxDolli-Making is a great way to teach sewing! Why make a pot holder or bean bag when you can make a dolli?!!! BSJ ScrapBoxDolli-Making has great first projects for teaching kids sewing!!!! If you and your favorite Kiddo have the basic skills to safely operate a sewing machine and able to sew a straight line/seam, you are ready to you are ready to join the BSJ ScrapBoxDolli-Making Revolution!!!
With contemporary twist, we believe that BSJ ScrapBoxDolli-Making will transport Kids and GrownUps back to the joys and legacy of rag dollmaking...while creating some very special memories. Every culture has a history of making dolls. We want to contribute to the restoration of hands -on family time.
Dolls are more than playthings. Dolls are Griots that chronicle our cultures, track our social evolution and are snapshots of our histories. BSJ ScrapBoxDolli-es are multi-ethnic, colorful and whimsical contemporary rag dolls, that will hopefully ignite a new generation of Dolli-makers!!

Scrappi Kidz can be made with or without BSJ Signature Fusible Face Appliques. Facial features can be added by using a simple cross stitch. (Instructions included)or your imagination.
The pattern comes with arms, legs, cap, skirt and wig, options.
